Marketing 101 for Visitors
Pennsylvania Dutch Country offers a variety of farmers markets in addition to numerous roadside stands commonly found throughout Lancaster County. Farmers Markets offer a little bit of everything, all in one trip. You’ll find locally grown produce, fresh meats and cheeses, a variety of baked goods, succulent fruits, and homemade jellies, relishes and chow-chow. Some even offer unique local Amish made crafts. Many are open year round and have extended hours for the summer season. If you are in the market for “fresh,” then you’ll want to make a stop at one of these farmers markets.
