Located in the heart of Lancaster County, among old world craftsmen, small-town farmers, and the independent Amish, Lancaster Brewing Company takes pride in its long and rich brewing traditions. Tours are available Monday through Friday at 1PM by appointment only. Watch the brewing process while savoring the rich flavors and aromas at the bar and restaurant. Other venues include a Harrisburg location on Eisenhower Boulevard and a second Lancaster location on Lincoln Highway.
Unique to Iron Hill are the restaurants’ iconographic murals painted by internationally-acclaimed artist Jeff Schaller. As you admire the artwork splashed across the walls in bold colors, order the Iron Hill Light Lager for a crisp, clean, refreshing taste with very subtle malt and hop flavor. Tröegs is a locally-sourced brewery with numerous unique scratch beer flavors on tap. Visit the upstairs tasting loft where you’ll find a seasonal menu including pizzas with house-fermented sourdough crust and hand-pulled mozzarella to pair your beers with. Tours are offered daily; take a self-guided, casual tour or a guided production tour for an in-depth look at the brewing process. The Splinter Tour also offers a unique glimpse into the unique wood-aging program found at the Hershey brewery.
Spring House Brewing Company’s downtown Lancaster location, named The Taproom, features shuffleboard as well as sidewalk seating next to the historic Hager Building. Enjoy fresh, creatively named Spring House brews with delicious pub grub. The Taproom is also just steps away from Lancaster Central Market and Penn Square.
