Lititz's connection to chocolate confections goes back to the early 1900s when Philadelphia-based Wilbur Chocolate opened a factory here. The company's most popular candy, the Wilbur Bud, debuted in 1893, 14 years before the similarly-shaped Hershey Kiss. While the Lititz factory closed in 2016, there is still a retail store and museum to visit and purchase all of your Wilbur Chocolate favorites. The former factory is now home to the Market at the Wilbur and Blackworth Live Fire Grill.
What makes the Lititz Chocolate Walk truly special is, in addition to tasting delicious chocolates, the opportunity to explore this charming town that's the perfect blend of history and progress.
