Seasonal Brews on Tap at Spring House
Spring House Brewing Company is known for its unique eyebrow-raising brews. Owner, Matthew Keasey isn’t afraid to experiment with unusual ingredients. For example, he uses about 150 pounds of mango puree to make 300 gallons of imperial pale ale that is bottled as “Astounding She-Monster Mango IPA.” It is almost like a beer smoothie. The Astounding She-Monster Mango is available year-round in addition to their award-winning Big Gruesome – a fully-bodied stout that is scary good.
Seasonal brews now on tap include:
- Lexicon Devil: Grapefruit Pale Ale
- Spinal Remains: Pumpkin Stoudt
- Diabolical Doctor Wit: Belgian Wit
- The Martians Kidnap Santa: Egg Nog Stout
Located in downtown Lancaster city, it opened a new brewpub at 209 Hazel Street in addition to the Taproom located at 25 W. King Street. The new brewpub is a converted warehouse that houses a restaurant in the front and a brewery in the back. The menu is upscale pub fare offering a variety of dishes that have a common ingredient. You guessed it – beer! Each location offers a selection of seasonal Spring House brews. Visit the website for more information.
